Who we are
This website belongs to AlpacApps BV, Jean-Pierre Monserestraat 51, 8800 Roeselare, Belgium, company number BE0669.602.579. For anything about privacy, contact vincent@alpacapps.be.
What data we process
Through the contact form we receive your name, your email address, your message and the topics you select. That message is sent to our mailbox and is not stored in a database of the website. We only use it to answer you and to prepare a possible collaboration. The legal basis is your request itself: steps you ask for ahead of a possible agreement.
Like every website, our server keeps technical log files, such as IP address and time of a visit. They only serve to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies and statistics
Reading the site sets no cookies of ours. Only when you send the contact form do we set a session cookie and a security cookie that the form needs. Our hosting network (Cloudflare) can set a short-lived cookie to keep bots out. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and so no cookie banner.
To see which pages are read, we use Umami. Umami works without cookies, does not store IP addresses and only shows us totals, never who you are.
Who we share data with
We never sell or rent out your data. To run the website we work with a few service providers who only act on our behalf: Laravel Cloud for hosting, Resend to deliver contact form messages and Umami for visitor statistics.
How long we keep data
We keep contact form messages as long as we need them to follow up on your question, and at most two years after our last contact. If you become a client, the retention periods from our agreement and accounting law apply.
Your rights
You can always ask which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Send an email to vincent@alpacapps.be. We answer within a month.
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
