Custom software, built around how you work.

We build web applications, customer portals and business software around your own processes, instead of bending your processes to fit an off-the-shelf package. One developer from analysis to maintenance, since 2016.

What is custom software?

Custom software is an application built specifically for your business, around your own way of working, instead of an off-the-shelf package your operations have to adapt to. It connects to the systems you already use and grows along when your business changes.

  • Around your own process

The software follows how your team works, not the other way round.

  • Connected to what you have

Accounting, webshop or CRM join in. Nobody retypes data any more.

  • Grows in steps

What pays off most comes first, the rest follows. No big bang.

What we build

From internal system to customer portal.

Five kinds of software we build most often, often in combination.

How we work

Something working fast, then step by step.

  1. 01

    Mapping your process

Together with the people who work with it every day. That way we build what is needed, not what sounds good on paper.

  2. 02

    A first working version

The part that pays off most comes first. You test it with real data before we build further.

  3. 03

    Building in short steps

A new version every few weeks that you see and steer yourself. No surprises at the end.

  4. 04

    Launch and maintenance

Hosting, updates and new wishes after launch. Your software stays secure and up to date.

Studio

You talk to the person who builds your software.

AlpacApps is led by Vincent Reynaert, a developer since 2007. No account manager or go-between between you and the code.

Good to know

Questions about custom software.

Custom software or an off-the-shelf package?

If an off-the-shelf package does what you need, it is usually cheaper. Custom software pays off when your way of working differs from the average, when you now tie several packages and Excel together, or when your software sets you apart from competitors.

How long does it take?

A first working version of the most important part is usually ready within a few weeks. After that we keep building in short steps, for as long as needed.

Can it connect to the software we already have?

Usually, yes. We connect through APIs to accounting packages, webshops, CRMs and Microsoft 365. If a system has no API, we find another safe way together, such as a scheduled import.

Who maintains the software after launch?

We do, if you want: hosting, security updates and new features. Because everything runs on Laravel and Vue.js, another developer can also take it over later.
